Engaginglab Diagnostic Platform

Motivation comes in six types.
Self-observation can see three.

Everything on this platform lives in the gap between those two numbers: free instruments that show you which zone your system is in, and a validated assessment that shows you why, at a resolution your own questionnaire cannot reach.

The resolution ladder

One question, three levels of resolution.

The platform is built like a lens, not like a paywall: each level shows you exactly where its own resolution ends, and nothing is held back except precision.

The Misfit Score reads whether a behavior runs on "because I have to" or "because I want to" fuel, and ends with the score and the question the score cannot answer. The template set and the Loop Localizer join it here soon.

The Behavioral Solution Assessment
A validated six-level diagnosis of one target behavior, three prioritized interventions with reasoning and failure indicators, and the language to defend the finding internally. Ten working days from kickoff to report.

The Misfit Playbook
The book teaches the whole method for the first two steps, and lets you feel at your own desk where self-observation runs out of resolution, which is the moment the assessment was built for.

A diagnosis is only half the job.
The other half is surviving the room.

The assessment measures one target behavior at the full six-level resolution, validated against what people do rather than what they report, and turns the result into three prioritized interventions, each with the reasoning behind it, the indicators that would tell you it is failing, and a documented list of the tools we examined and ruled out, because a prescription is only as trustworthy as its rejected alternatives. The Institutional Armor packages the finding for the person who has to carry it into a meeting where someone is waiting to say that people just need more supervision.

You may be wondering why you cannot simply do this with the Playbook, and the honest answer is that you can, for three zones: the book teaches the complete method and warns you itself that even the researchers who defined the six types struggle to separate identified from integrated motivation with questionnaires. The instrument exists for the resolution self-report cannot deliver, not for knowledge the book withholds.

9,500 € fixed. Ten working days from kickoff to report. No discovery phase, no daily rates, no scope creep.

The working sheets, without the formatting effort.

Nine fillable sheets in A4 and US Letter, from the gate before the matrix to the Behavioral Design Specification Sheet: everything the Misfit Playbook assumes you have at hand, because the book assumes you are working, not merely reading. The set is in final production and will live at this address; your email will be the price, and there is no newsletter unless you ask for it.

This platform will tell you when you do not need us.

No free instrument on this platform gives you intervention advice, and that is not stinginess but hygiene, because prescription without validated diagnosis is the one thing a behavioral practice must never sell. The Loop Localizer will go one step further: it begins with a gate that checks whether your target behavior needs judgment, unsupervised persistence, and identity, and if it does not, the tool will tell you that structured, explicit instruments are the better and cheaper choice, which is an unusual thing for a company to build into its own funnel, and exactly why you can trust the rest of it.

Start where the resolution is free.

Twenty questions, one zone reading, and the question that tells you whether the assessment is worth booking.

Direction of Intervention

In Plain Terms
No jargon. No theory. Just what it means.
The plain-language verdict is on the Verdict tab. The extended narrative version appears here once you generate the report.
The report gives you a starting point. Not the full picture.

What To Do shows one direction. But motivation misfits rarely have a single right answer. Different contexts, different constraints, different people. The same gap plays out differently depending on what you are actually working with.

Turn on follow-up insights and receive a few thoughts that look at your gap from a different angle. Not a newsletter. Just the things a single report cannot cover.

The mechanics are specific to your context. Sequence, timing, environment changes, the interventions that make the new behavior the path of least resistance. That is what we build together.
